Apparently, in some regions of Poland, the word boor is as offensive as the word dick. For us, it means simply a twit. Let’s say an arrogant twit. But for sure someone rude. However, it is a nice and delicate expression to describe such a person. Remember, sometimes people are in a bad mood, sometimes are ill-mannered. They may not even know that they aren’t nice. There is no need to be angry with them.
